How does “Follow my voice” work?
With the option on, the text scrolls while you speak and stops when you go quiet. The app only uses the microphone volume for this: it doesn't transcribe, save or send your voice. In very noisy places the scrolling may not stop; if that happens, turn the option off and use a fixed speed.
How do I use a remote control?
In Settings › Remote control, choose “Bluetooth headphones” or “Keyboard or pedal”. On headphones, the play/pause button starts and pauses the scrolling, and next or previous track changes the speed. On a keyboard or pedal: Space or Enter for play/pause, the up and down arrows (or Page Up and Page Down) to move the text back and forward, and the left and right arrows for speed.
How do I open the mini prompter?
In Settings, tap “Floating mini prompter”. On iPhone, the window uses Picture in Picture and can also be opened from a button in Control Center (iOS 18 or later). On Android, the app asks for permission to appear on top of other apps and offers a shortcut in the Quick Settings panel.
Can I use it with a professional camera or a teleprompter rig?
Yes. Use the Reading tab: it shows only the text, without opening the phone's camera. Turn on “Mirror” if the phone will sit under the glass of a teleprompter rig, and choose the screen orientation.
Where are my videos stored?
Takes are stored inside the app, on your device. On the review screen you can save a take to your photo gallery. Nothing is uploaded to the cloud.
How do I delete my data?
You can delete scripts and recordings inside the app. To erase everything at once, just uninstall Roteiro: since there's no account and no cloud, nothing is kept anywhere else. Videos you've already saved to your gallery stay there until you delete them.
